*Lead Instructional Designer*

*Location: Portland, OR*

*Client: TCS/DTNA*

*Long term contract*

*Purpose*:

Design, write, create, edit, and maintain technology and process training
assets, including embedded performance support, integrated micro-lessons,
job aids, presentations, and web-based training.

*Functions*:

·         Reviews and analyzes project requirements and use cases

·         Interviews subject matter experts and end users

·         Performs gap and task analyses

·         Defines scope of work

·         Writes training plans, design plans, storyboards, and scripts

·         Develops various job aids in a variety of formats

·         Embeds learning and user performance support within application
Help

·         Participates in formal review and validation meetings

·         Writes and electronically formats documents to adhere to
established department standards

·         Structures deliverables for localization and produces localized
versions

·         Works independently, but often collaborates with other team
members

*Qualifications: *

·         Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or Adult Learning
Theory (Master’s degree preferred)

·         Five to seven years of curriculum development or instructional
design experience, or commensurate level of demonstrable experience in a
software development environment.

·         Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize

·         Strong lead instructional design experience

·         Understanding of software development processes and methodology

·         Text-to-speech and voiceover experience preferred

·         Experience in technical writing a plus

·         Working knowledge of developing for localization

*Tools: *

·         Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and Acrobat Professional, Storyline,
Microsoft PowerPoint, HTML

·         Microsoft Office products
