This position is responsible for analyzing business requirements, creating technical designs, and developing SAS ETLs. The development includes both coding and testing complex SAS ETLs using SAS DI Studio and following ETL standards and best practices. This individual also assists other team members in performing analysis, design, development, and testing. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment and independently with a focus on quality and customer service. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Requirements Minimum Skills Requirement in years Years Skills/Experience 5 Experience in SAS ETL development 5 Experience working with SAS DI Studio 5 Experience with Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) 5 Experience with RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, SQL Server 5 Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies 5 Experience and skill in analyzing business requirements, developing new and revising existing computer programs and systems; executing unit test procedures; and producing required program and project documentation 5 Experience in performing formal peer reviews and validations and providing written feedback 5 Extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients 5 Ability to analyze and problem solve 5 Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with others at all times in the course and scope of conducting business 3 Experience with: PROC SQL, SAS ETL 3 Experience build data warehouses and loading data into those tables. 3 Experience with Star & Snowflake schemas Preferred skill requirements in years Years Skills/Experience 2 Experience in SAS development using SAS Web Reports Studio 2 Experience working with data models. 2 RDBMS experience with DB2 2 Experience with any of the following: SAS Base, SAS MACRO, SAS ACCESS, SAS Information Map Studio, SAS OLAP.
