opening for a Senior PeopleSoft Software Engineer in the Boston area. This
candidate must have experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and
preferably have a background in higher education. candidate must be
available for a face-to-face interview.

*Basic Qualifications:***

Basic Qualifications Solid understanding of the principles of server-side
development in a distributed, multi-tier, enterprise environment;
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design, Java (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS, JDBC,
JMX), Web/Application Servers (Tomcat, Weblogic), Relational Databases
(Oracle) and

XML technologies; Proficiency in Web 2.0 technologies like AJAX and XML UI;
Familiarity with frameworks such as Hibernate and Spring; Understanding of
the principles of User-centric design; *5+ years *software development
experience with demonstrable technical leadership.

Excellent communication skills and a passion for innovation; Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science or related area. Experience with PeopleTools
suite with version 8 or above, including responsibility for development of
modifications and interfaces. Strong understanding of system development
life cycle (SDLC) processes in both maintenance and implementation
scenarios.

*Desirable Qualifications:*

Familiarity with design patterns and the ability to drive them into software
development;

Awareness of Rich Internet Applications and Rich Client Platforms; Exposure
to .NET and

Microsoft SharePoint; Exposure to agile software development methodology and
Test Driven

Development; Advanced degree in Computer Science or related area.

*Responsibilities include but not limited to:*

• Gather and Review Requirements & Specifications

• Be involved in software project planning and strategy sessions

• Design & Implement project requirements

• Participate in definition, fine tuning and implementing development
processes

• Identify, evaluate, and select development tools
