** *Position: Senior .Net Developer* *Location: Seattle, WA* *Duration: 6 Months * *Rate: DOE* * * *Job Description:* Note by PM Application Environment Support: .NET Application Environment Support Analyst drives the design and creation of pre-production environments based on project platform and application needs. The selected candidate must ensure that system deployment work efforts are prioritized, scheduled, and delivered based on set expectations. This individual collaborates as part of the overall AEM team or as a single resource on project teams in the scheduling and building of environments, as well as transitioning to proper support teams. This individual ensures that pre-production environments are built and configured to match the specifications documented in project plans. The AEM Analyst also collaborates with IS security, storage, virtualization, network, database, and application teams to ensure that all policies are followed and plans fully communicated. Minimum 3 years of experience supporting IT system environments within a professional setting Should have strong knowledge of .NET technology Firm understanding of virtual environment management (VMWare) concepts and how it fits into the overall SDLC Demonstrated ability to perform systems analysis on high availability pre-production environments within an enterprise setting Experience interacting with SQL and/or DB2 queries, updates, etc Technical experience related to virtual and storage technologies Knowledge of Windows Server 2000, 2003 IIS 5.0, IIS 6.0 Experience with fundamental network services such as DNS, DHCP, IRAS Experience with system resource and performance monitoring tools Experience in analyzing system performance data for performance characteristics Experience with scripting frameworks and languages such VB Script.
