*Duration: *6 months *Interview: *Phone Hire Description: The primary role of the ETL Architect is to lead the strategy and implementation for the data integration solution by taking into consideration the client’s business case, objectives, requirements, and constraints, utilizing the HP Global Methodology as the foundation for solution development. The technical domain of the ETL Architect includes conceptual, logical and physical data modeling, ETL standards, best practices, tools and technologies, security in the ETL environment, ETL architecture, design, development, capacity planning, performance tuning, and administration. Responsibilities: · Hands-on leader viewed as the trusted advisor to lead analysis of the ETL environment, assess current state, identify future state, conduct gap analysis, and recommend prioritization from a ETL architecture perspective. · Collaborates with other architects to align the ETL architecture to the business case and the overall solution architecture. · Takes into consideration the technology value system (performance, scalability, reliability, operability, flexibility, affordability, and auditability) an HP’s Global Methodology when reviewing the high-level business and technical objectives and requirements for the solution. · Delivering the most value to the client based on their constraints and balancing that against HP’s value system and Global Methodology. · Ensure delivery of ETL Architecture and associated documentation adheres to technology value system (performance, scalability, reliability, operability, flexibility, affordability, and auditability) an HP’s Global Methodology · Identify ETL architecture design alternatives based on client’s objective and budget. · Ability to influence the client and help the client appreciate the trade-offs in ETL design solutions. · Provide input and estimates related to the ETL technical components for purposes of enhancing or addressing defects in the implemented ETL Environment · Responsible for identifying ETL technical risks, communicating those risks and recommending solutions that mitigate the risk to the client and to HP. · Completes the ETL architecture documentation for the project; Sets or enforces ETL standards and architecture for the project. · Drives consensus around the implementation of the designed ETL components of the solution · Hands-on management of the team of ETL designers and developers both onshore and offshore.
