Need BI Developer with Cognos and Microstrategy Location: Charlotte Duration: 6 Months Skills: The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience developing and maintaining BI cubes, queries, applications, dashboards, and standard reports using BOTH Cognos 8.4 and MicroStrategy 9. Cognos 8.4 experience should include work with ReportNet, PowerPlay, Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, and Analysis Studio. MicroStrategy 9 experience should include developing Report Documents, Dashboards and Schema objects (Attributes, Filters, Metrics, Facts, Prompts, Templates, and Custom Groups) with MicroStrategy Desktop, Intelligence Server, and Narrowcast Server. Experience with Composite (virtual data integration) a plus. Strong understanding of requirements gathering and analysis sessions with business end users. The candidate can address and resolve user questions involving data, tool usage, and reporting. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a self-motivated problem-solver. Must have ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment, able to lead projects and work activities with minimal supervision and be a team player.
