Location: Atlanta GA Duration: Aug-15th 2011 to Nov-18th 2011 Skills Required: · Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, with SSAS 2008 experience · Writing MDX code in SSAS. · Data Warehouse Modeling constructing datamart databases and Multi-Dimensional Data Modeling. · SQL Server Integration Services. · SQL Server development work that includes TSQL coding and database engine related tasks. · Optimization/tuning database performance. · Administering SSAS services on Server and optimizing performance related to bad running MDX query/data processes. · Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. · Should have good team skills, learning skill and should be able to take task independently. · Should follow Process compliance while Executing tasks. Job Responsibilities: · Create/modify data warehouse datamart databases with definition of dimension and fact tables in it. Define attribute columns in the datamart data model. · Define star schema and snow flake schema in the data model structure for Analysis Services. · Create SSIS packages for data load from other sources to the datamart databases. · Create SSAS multi-dimensional data model that includes: Ø Dimensions Ø Attributes Ø Attribute relationship Ø User Hierarchies Ø Cubes Ø Measure groups/measures Ø Partitions Ø Calculated members Ø Security roles • Deploying SSAS database on to the server. • Create SSIS packages to process data to SSAS data model from datamart source. • Write XMLA commands for SSAS administration/data process. • Create SQL Server tables/store procedures/views. • Hands on experience in tuning slow running SQL queries. • Hands on experience in troubleshooting slow running MDX queries/slow SSAS performance. • Documentation. (Design doc, Physical implementation doc, deployment doc) Thank You!
