The worker will be drawing on prior cross-functional SAP experience to develop security roles for the various functional modules within SAP. This particular position will be working to transition the existing ‘cafeteria-style’ security approach to a SAP recommended role-based approach. Will require interaction with the user community, the functional IT team, basis and developers. Also portal interaction. 8+ years experience working directly with SAP in both technical and functional capacities Knowledge of SAP protocols – transport management, security, remote function calls Experience with integration to other SAP systems – CRM, SRM, BI, XI, Portal, etc. Design experience in SAP – familiarity with reading ABAP code, bapi’s function modules, transaction assignment, etc. Creation and management of transports, including log analysis and object analysis within the transport. Experience drawing requirements out of the business process experts Experience in all project phases (blueprint, design, realization, testing, implementation, support) Experience in using Solution Manager for business process documentation Experience using Mercury Quality Center for testing (FUT, UAT, Regression) Experience working with basis resources on system performance and security Experience as a business user in the contract management or service management area a major plus Configuration experience in one of the SAP Functional modules. Significant experience in development of security profiles, protocols and processes in SAP.
