Create value added services and capabilities advancing the state of the art of the trading system technology for the desk. A self starter with a can-do- attitude and the right mix of technical skills and business knowledge is essential. To be successful in the position, the ideal candidate will have excellent software development and at least 5 years experience developing systems in support of trading desks. Ability to turaround solutions quickly Ability to balance strategic and tactical solutions Ability to turn business requirements into system deliverables *Job Responsiblities:* Support the day - to - day activities of the desk, trouble shooting, understanding problmes and propose solutions. Heavy interaction and trading desk managers. Good Communication Skills Develop software components for advanced trading system functionality to the trading desk. Support and enchance systems developed for the desk. *Job Skills:* 5-7 years experience with building large-scale applications Languages: c#, c++, Java, J2EE, Weblogic Databases: Sybase Operating Systems: Unix, Windows XP Familiarity with financial messaging protocols is a plus Web Services Implementation experience is a plus.
