Note: This requirement is for our Prime Vendor, Immediate Interview for the right candidate Please send resumes to le...@dotsolved.com Position: Solaris Admin Location: Vienna, VA Duration: 6 + Months Rate: Open Description: Installation, configuration, and management of Solaris 10 Zones supporting multiple environments (dev, test, prod) Perform installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle middleware stack including Oracle WebLogic, Oracle BPM, and Oracle Service Bus. Monitor and tune all environments for optimum performance Act as interface with federal Systems/Networking groups and resources to support the application Serve as team lead for infrastructure team consisting of COTS admin and DBA resources Monitor, schedule and perform core system patches, upgrades and support code deployments Establish rules/policies and SLAs for infrastructure group Establish and maintain appropriate access permissions for environments Support the middleware stack by resolving escalated and technically complex trouble tickets assigned in a timely and efficient manner. Work closely with all team members to debug performance related problems and identify performance bottle necks Provide system and application debugging support as needed Proactively make recommendations and follow through to keep environments secure, up to date, and functional for intended user groups Provide production (Tier – 2) support and extended support when required to meet project deadlines. Provide support for application deployments as needed Required knowledge and experience with the following: 8+ years of hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and administration of Solaris/Oracle Environments including o Solaris 10, with ZFS and Zones o Oracle Weblogic Server 10gR3 o Oracle BPM o Apache Webserver / Proxy o Tomcat o Glassfish 8+ years of experience in deploying and managing Java/J2EE applications, preferably on a Solaris platform Design/Engineering and Operational experience in supporting Weblogic in a multi-tiered web environment and understand the interaction between each tier. Experience configuring, managing, and monitoring Cisco ASA Routers and Switches Experience configuring, managing, and monitoring BigIP F5 Load Balancer, including designing iRules and ASM configuration Hands-on experience in the creation and management of WebLogic (BPM) clusters Experience managing Windows 2003 and 2008 Experience in creating shell scripts for automation and monitoring of middleware applications Hand-on experience with WLST scripting Understanding of Java Profiler tools, Thread analysis, JDBC, and JVM tuning Experience with large scale J2EE application deployments Experience with UNIX scripting Experience with Oracle SPARC Hardware M3000, T2000, v245, v480, and M5000’s Experience with DELL Server Hardware (BMC, ipmitool, etc..)
