*Relevant Experience (Yrs) * 3 years of Flex and 4-10 years JAVA
development
*Necessary Skills *
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience as programmer analyst in
Flex/Flash and/or Java development, with SQL programming experience, and
exposure to IDEs like Eclipse, RAD7 or 8 and Flex Builder.
- Exposure to Mate or other Flex frameworks
- Experience with development under an iterative process framework like
Agile/XP, Agile/SCRUM.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with minimal direction

*Desired Skills*
- MQ (setup, configuration and Java code interaction)
- Familiarity with Flex 3&4
- Large project builds using (ANT or MAVEN) (reqd for dedicated app
builders)
- Oracle PL/SQL (required for Stored Procedure Developers)
- HTML
- XML/DOM, and parsing
- JavaScript
- Style Sheets (CSS)
- SQL unit testing tools
- AJAX
- LDAP
- Reporting concepts (logging, Tivoli)
- Adobe Flash garbage collection
- Swing
- Unix, Linux commands

*Roles & Responsibilities*
- Participate in Daily stand-ups as per Agile XP process
- Proven track record and a passion for designing compelling user
interfaces.
- Translate requirements into concepts and elegant user design,
interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that
promote ease of use and optimize the user experience
- Practical experience employing user centered design methods
- Assert willingness to challenge traditional design thinking and look
for new and innovative ways to approach design projects and improve
streamline the user experience

*Generic Managerial Skills *
- General status report to technical leads and management – weekly on
Monday for previous week
- Issues / risks report – daily / as needed (i.e. issues requiring
management
action or intervention)
- High degree of creativity, interaction design and problem solving
ability.
- Very strong communication skills (Ability to communicate one's ideas
through their design)
- Excellent presentation skills & and attention to detail + Experience
working with various departments within a product team + Team player
