*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** * Position: BI DEVELOPER WITH DATA WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE MUST BE LOCAL TO NY Location:White Plains, NY Length:6-8 month’s w/option for additional time * Overview: The Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Developer will develop, support and deliver specific Business Intelligence Team services such as dashboards, scorecards, reports, user interfaces and associated data structures and develop data warehousing solutions with large volumes of data. Requirements: Must have 3-5 yrs Extracting data from its source and transforming/configuring data to be loaded into the data warehouse including: Must have working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Solutions for BI DW Environments, including SQL Server 2008, DTS, Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Troubleshooting and correcting data and data processing errors in existing solutions Analyze requirements, assess current state as well as strategic goals and devise a plan for delivering the most appropriate solution Must be able to design, develop and test BI solutions such as reports, cubes, dashboards, ad hoc data access solutions using best practices including: Review designs, code and testing with the project team as appropriate Create detailed documentation of data warehouse, data marts, cube structures, ETL and other BI solutions Attend and actively contribute to architecture, modeling and design meetings Understand the data warehouse and data mart models as well as become familiar with the business information contained in each as well as the source systems Must have previous experience interacting with business users to discuss requirements and to deliver reports and other BI solutions Insurance/Reinsurance industry knowledge and experience a plus Experience with Master Data Management architecture, tools and principles a plus Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
