the look and feel of the BO portal. Struts, JSP, XML, soap, and Javascript

*Java/Business Objects SDK Developer*
This is an opening for a Senior Java SDK *Developer* to customize the Self
Service Reporting portal look and feel and enhance some of the BO
functionality. The successful candidate will have extensive experience
using Business Objects version XI R3 to provide support for users in
production, test, and development environments. This position requires
flexibility, creativity and initiative. Candidates should be self-starters
and team players who enjoy working with an international team, be able to
multi-task their workload assignments, be fluent in spoken and written
English and have strong writing and communication skills.
*Required Skills.*
· 8 years + hands on application development experience using
Java/J2EE framework preferably using Liferay/Websphere and in
implementation of Business Objects SDK and integration with other Web based
systems.
· Strong understanding of managing security within the CMC.
· Strong SQL generating skills on the BO platform.
· Strong understanding and usage of XML, SOAP, JAVA SCRIPT and HTML.
· Proven ability to serve as a Technical Developer responsible for
delivering solutions and meeting business needs
· Software development experience with the following core
technologies: JAVA/J2EE/JSP
· Experience with User Experience/Usability for software design or
websites (Graphical Design Skills, Focused on ease of use, Understands the
end-user's behavior, Designs efficient interfaces)
*Responsibilities*
· Customize Infoview using JAVA SDK to improve the usability and
enhance functionality.
· Manage Security and single-sign-on on Windows AD, LDAP and
Siteminder.
· Develop, customize, implement, and support for portlets and other
web applications, including Business Objects XI/3 version of SDK
· Identify, solve and communicate (written and oral) problems.
· Apply Agile/Scrum development methodology.
*Desired Skills*
· Strong understanding of Business Objects Integration with SAP and
release of latest suite of tools.
· Working knowledge of business Objects client tools (Universe
designer, Information Manager, Xcelsius, Explorer, Webi and Crystal
Reports.)
· Strong knowledge of Business Objects SDK with JAVA and JSF
knowledge.
· Knowledge on BW Architecture and Reporting (Cubes, DSO’s, Bex
Analyzer and Workbooks).
· Experience creating universes against SAP BW OLAP sources.
· Ability to understand the MDX generated from SAP BW OLAP source.
· Hands on experience on the usage of SAP BO 4,0 suite of tools.
· Hands on knowledge of building dashboard and coming up with mock
up design.
