*Required Skills           SDET in Service/Web team:*

·         Strong object oriented development and design skills (C# / .NET
Framework)

·         Strong QA skills (planning, bug reporting, troubleshooting, high
attention to detail)

·         Ability to work in a fast past environment

·         Takes initiative to identify issues and make suggestions.

·         Experience with Visual Studio (2010 preferred)

·         Experience using source control, preferably Team Foundation
Server.

·         Understanding of and experience using relational databases;
Ability to write queries and stored procedures (MS SQL Server or similar)

·         Understanding of, and ideally experience using, various forms of
security applied to web services such as Basic Auth, OAuth ( 2 legged, 3
legged), and api keys.

·         Familiarity with design, development, and testing of WCF services
(SOAP & REST)

·         Experience with both XML and JSON data.

·         Experience consuming publicly available rest services is
beneficial (Twitter, Facebook, anything restful found on
ProgrammableWeb.com, for example)

·         Experience using a variety of tools & languages to consume and
test services is a plus (C#, Java, jQuery, php, fiddler, others.)

·         Testing experience including

·         Automation, particularly around services / API tests

·         Visual Studio / Team Foundation / Other tools

·         Designing, creating, and executing unit tests, integration
testing, load and performance tests.

·         Experience with cloud hosted services and service proxy layers /
applications is a plus.

·         Should be a culturally good fit for Starbucks, good team player,
pro-active in identifying gaps and suggesting solutions, good with problem
solving.
