Desirable Technical Skills

Mandatory Functional Skills
1. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to
present and explain technical information to diverse types of audiences in a
way that establishes rapport and understanding.
2. Experience in working in an Onsite-Offshore model
Desirable Functional Skills
1. Experience in E2E Enterprise Data Architecture
2. Experience in handling any market leading OLAP tool is preferred.
3. Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories,
principles, and practices
4. Comprehensive BI solution analysis and design experience, with full
knowledge of data warehouse methodologies
5. Competent ability to analyze functional and technical requirements in the
design and comprehensive BI applications
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with abilities to assess
technical design and implementation options for best-fit relative to
function and cost;
7. Capabilities for managing client expectations while maintaining a high
degree of client trust and confidence;
8. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks and priorities in a
high-pressure environment;
9. Strong mentoring and coaching skills;

Job Description
1. Creates data warehouses/marts and/or develops data analyses/reports to
support business decisions
2. Participates in JAD Sessions and other formal and informal discovery
sessions with users and customer IT personnel to identify requirements and
develop design specifications for data warehouse projects and corresponding
applications
3. Designs and develops logical, physical, and semantic data models
4. Participates in change control, problem management, and communication
among associated team members
5. Designs, develops, tests, and implements programs, scripts, and processes
to extract, transform, clean, and load data from source systems into the
data warehouse
6. Provides implementation recommendations, work plans, and estimated hours
and time frame estimates
7. Participates in processes to ensure a consistent, well-managed, and
integrated data warehouse infrastructure
8. Assumes other responsibilities in the team as needed (e.g., business
analysis, quality assurance, applications development)
