Description for Sr. SharePoint Project resource Member of a virtual team whose responsibilities include delivering collaboration services via Microsoft SharePoint 2010. This person understands Sharepoint hosting architectures and infrastructure, and will guide solutions teams in successfully deploying Sharepoint solutions. This role entails: · Assisting solution teams with deployment of solutions that meet infrastructure hosting designs and standards. · Being the point of contact with implementation teams · Providing guidance and policies to development teams. Required Skills: · 5+ years experience in the delivery of web based applications. · 5+ years experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server and IIS · 4 years experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server. Microsoft Sharepoint 2010 experience is mandatory · Microsoft Office Excel services, Microsoft SharePoint Workspace and Microsoft Forefront Security for SharePoint experience is valued. SharePoint-specific experience and skills: · In-depth experience building SharePoint hosting platforms and related infrastructure is required. · Must possess an in-depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint Server Enterprise 2010 . · Demonstrated knowledge of architectural design, with a focus on planning, architecting and deploying SharePoint Enterprise implementations. ie Search, Services · Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server 2007. · Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is required. · Experience integrating web parts, enterprise search, business workflows and business intelligence into SharePoint implementations. · Experience with SharePoint Designer workflows, use of the data view, content query and data form web parts, and other web development tools (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript). · Experience with server installation and performance tuning Leadership and architecture experience and skills: · Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. · Understanding of business requirements and process analysis. · Experience with service oriented architectures. · Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business both verbally and in writing. · Creation and documentation of logical, data and physical architectures using Microsoft SharePoint and Office System based solutions. · Ability to provide technical leadership, covering analysis, design, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies (e.g. SQLServer, AD).
