(Activities  /Tasks to be handled by the role):*













• The primary function of the Application Administrator is to implement,
maintain, monitor and support production and non-production application
landscapes hosted in the datacenter.
• Implement customer projects in a timely manner
• Administer and support customer n-tier applications
• Responsible for securing sites, remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Proactively manage and maintain web servers & ap
• Interacts with and coordinates activities of cross-functional teams,
including development, server operations, infrastructure engineering and
solutions engineeringplication servers
• Alert customer with up to date security patch updates
• Release maintenance and management
• Adherence to change management process
• 24x7 application availability support  and incident management
• Keep an up-to-date support document
• Proactively identify and automate the routine tasks or hand over to
operations
• Disaster Recovery support
• Capacity planning
• Performance tuning























*Skills Requirement
(Background/Experience of Candidates -  required / preferred)*













• 7 plus years of IT experience with at least 5 years of working experience
in supporting production application environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to
target the audience
• Expert level problem solving and root cause analysis skills, with the
ability to identify learning opportunities, improve current processes.
• Experience analyzing project scope and determining resources needs to
meet business objectives
• Proven ability to resolve the most complex user/systems issues
effectively.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly to solve technical
problems.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Experience in implementing and managing information technology projects
spanning multiple geographical locations.
• Strong understanding and experience in ITIL processes
• Excellent customer service skills
