Location : Harrisburg, PA

Job Description:
• Code and unit test ASP.NET/ C# programs that comply with detailed specifications.
• Complete and test any enhancements or changes to coded programs based on quality assurance activities.
• Participate in code walk-throughs and process meetings.
• Adhere to published coding and documentation standards.
• Ability to contribute to Implementation efforts (UAT, Environment setup, end user support).
• Assist in end user training efforts.
• Create and execute test plans.
• Ability to analyze and solve business or technical problems
• ability to translate business solution to technical solution and specifications
• Write and/or provide content for system documentation including functional and detailed design documentation, program specifications, and other system documentation.
• Update applicable administrative tracking tools.
• Contribute in researching technical issues and published forum discussions on coding techniques pertinent to this application development.
• Ability to work in team environment both onsite and remote, good communication skills, and provide weekly status to project lead and management.
• Demonstrate understanding of database concepts including normalization, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
• Stay current with technology updates and process improvements.
• Contribute to application performance tuning utilizing existing tools and processes.
• Utilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and other environment specific software tools to create, test, and implement an application.
• Contribute in code peer review sessions.
• Play a role on the system integration testing effort by fixing identified bugs and running test scripts.
• Aptitude to participate in the staged code release process.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.
• Perform in a team leader role and mentor other team members.
• Communicate to project manager task progress and escalate issues.
• Communicate with the client in a professional manner.
• Communicate with remote development location in order to solve problems and discuss application integration.
• Participate in defining project plan and execute project plan. Update project plans as required.
• Identify, mitigate and manage project issues.

Required Skills:
• College Degree in Computer Science, mathematics, or equivalent Required 4 Years
• Overall IT Experience - more than 8 years;
• Business Analysis - required 5 years;
• ASP.Net - required 5 years
• C#.NET - required 5 years
End to end application development (UI, business logic, Data access) - required 5 years
• .NET 3.5 Framework - 5 years required
• Relational Database Experience (Oracle) - required 5 years
• Visual Studio 2008 - 1 year; 3 years required on prior versions of Visual Studio
• Performance and Tuning Diagnostics - Desired 1 year
Enterprise Library experience - Highly desired 6 Months
• Ability to develop client and team relationships desired 2 years
• Strong verbal skills (can clearly articulate thoughts and be easily understood) - 4 years required
• Strong written communication skills (technical and business process documentation) - 4 Years required
