*Application Architect BLOOMINGTON, IL 61710 Duration 2.5 years Contract* Need someone who be a liaison between the IT group and stakeholders. Roll out new applications, best practices, make design, drive it, ect. Also doing the application architecture. Need coding background. *Must-haves* o Ability to challenge ideas in a respectful and constructive way. o Transform business need into logical design o Experience in seeing solutions from concept to development to subsequent production execution. o Experience with documenting the architecture by creating AA artifacts package required using the appropriate specifications (UML, BPMN, etc.) and tools (Mega, Visio, etc.). o Think horizontal, not just vertical, so they could identify overlaps /synergies with existing solutions or other work that is going on. o Familiar with and understands technology stack (ESBs, UI frameworks, storage alternatives, JAVA, etc.) o Experience with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and similar architectural styles *Role:* o Work with business to understand business requirements and ask questions to gain a better understanding of their needs. o Identify gaps, concerns, and risk for proposed changes. o Facilitating brainstorming sessions with key business partners and Systems SMEs to identify solution options that meet the business needs. o Develop a deep knowledge of both the current state and the proposed future state of DC4 - Report A Loss o Using Business Architect artifacts as input, create AA artifacts package.
