*Java/J2EE Developer - NYC* *Required Skills and Experience* 8+ years in Java/J2EE technology. Description: Minimum experience of 8+ years in Java/J2EE technology. Hands on Working knowledge of the following skills: Java 1.6 /J2EE, Struts 2.0, Spring 3.0, JAXB, SOA Architecture, Web Services, XML, XSLT, JAXP, Ajax. Design patterns, OOAD, UML. Familiar with Architectural concepts. Experience in development of frame work- Components or product development. Methodology: RUP, Waterfall Tools: RAD 7.0, Maven, Visio, Quality Center (QC), WebSphere Application Server, CMS (Team Site), FTL Responsibilities: Responsible for HLD,LLD, development of framework components. Client facing and provide the status to program leads. This is a role which requires strong architecture and heavy duty coding skills. Requires ability to manage multiple initiatives and provide direction to the teams. Be able to provide counsel and advise to the team leads and program leadership Work with vendor teams and internal interfacing system owners to define approach for integration with required service level characteristics expectation.
