My contact information is below. *Position: Java Analyst* *Location: Fort Collins, CO* *Contract: 9 Months* * * *Job Description: * Serve as a full time senior application programmer for the NRCS PLANTS application. This position is will code for complex database driven natural resource web applications and data manipulation tools. In addition to creation of custom software within a close team environment, the candidate should exhibit excellent problem solving and data analysis skills and have experience working in an agile development environment. This candidate will be responsible for modernizing and streamlining current processes. The candidate will also work on a project to develop tools for PhD Botanists to manage complex taxonomic data stored in an MS SQL Server database. This candidate must be aware of and practice modern secure code practices. Familiarity with Federal Information Security Management practices is a plus. The senior level candidate will be able to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application development, systems analysis, and data analysis and manipulation.
