seeking a “Hands On” OBIEE Lead Manager for Development team for a long
term contract in Buffalo, NY. Our client has implemented OBIEE and data
warehouse. Our client went into production in January of this year with the
first phase of functionality. They are now seeking a Technical Manager/lead
to manage the next phase of implementation to include production rollout
and administration using in-house functional and technical resources. This
resource will be responsible for the Hands on Management of the development
team. He/she will Coordinate the required project tasks and Architecture.
They will manage an onsite and offshore team. They will manage all phases
of the development from QA to Production. The selected candidate will be
responsible for Executive Dashboard, Board Reports, Financial Reports
Design and Implementation as well as upgrading the OBIEE Strategy dealing
with new developments on projects, HR & Sales Modules. Additionally the
candidate will create the OBIEE & OBIA implementation strategy based on the
client’s requirements and migrating OBIEE 10g to 11g. Furthermore the
candidate selected will design the analytical schema, create the Dashboard
and BI Publisher Reports. The candidate selected will also provide the
administrative tasks creating and maintaining the Metadata Repository for
the main interface between users and the technical team. Lastly the
candidate will define, document, schedule, implement, and deploy second
phase of implementation as well as enhancements to the existing
functionality, this includes assigning support tasks to the team; managing
schedule and tasks to complete enhancement work; leading the requirements
gathering process for new reporting and analytic needs.****
Technical Requirements:****
· Significant “Hands On” Project Management/Lead experience with
the capabilities to lead a small technical team****
Management of both offshore and onsite teams is required.***

· 7+ years of OBIEE knowledge at the Functional level****
· Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL, Business
Intelligence****
· Preferred that the candidate possess a Financial Data background**

· Strong customers facing capabilities to be able to successfully
extract requirements from users’ s & translate them into solutions in the
application****
Excellent Comm skills is a must****
Strong experience of design and architecture is also required.****
