*Position: Siebel IT Operations SME Location: Lincolnshire, IL Duration: Long term contract (12 months*) *Must-haves:* 5+ years experience with Siebel CRM and UCM Application Administration 5+ years experience with MS Windows Server OS and its administration. 3+ years working with Oracle DBMS (10g or higher). 3+ years working with SQL commands and knowledge of DB administration. 2+ years experience with IIS web server 3+ years experience in technical writing and documentation techniques, using tools such as MS-Office, Visio and various screen capture utilities Self-motivated, independent, great communication (oral and written) Good working knowledge of Siebel Enterprise installation in a Windows environment PL/SQL *Plusses:* Experience with Linux/UNIX 3+ years working with MS SQL Server DBMS (2005 or higher Relevant technology certifications in MS Windows Server OS, Siebel, Linux/UNIX OS or related infrastructure technologies Shell Scripting *Role:* The IT Operations Tech Support Senior Analyst will provide technical and operational support to the HR BPO Technology business. They will be interfacing with business partners and non-technical staff. This includes acting as a senior liaison between application development, client delivery teams, and a distributed corporate technology support structure. They will be responsible for improving the availability, management, reliability, security, performance, and capacity of HR BPO applications and systems primarily hosted on the MS Windows Server OS. The position includes participating in the architectural review, systems performance profiling, application installation, infrastructure configuration, and environment support of/for various technologies with primary/priority focus on Siebel. This role will help to monitor and adhere to metrics by which the overall health of the application can be measured, tracked and shared with teams and departments within Aon Hewitt. There will be an on-call rotation and will work weekends once a month. This is a 24x7 environment. The team currently manages 7+ MS Windows hosted technology services with multiple lifecycles. With Siebel, there are 3+ environments (also with multiple lifecycles) with 2 of which hosting multiple clients.
