GC or EAD or Citizen or TN* *Requirements:* - 5 + years of *VOIP/Cisco* technology experience. - Cisco certifications: *CCNA and/or CCNP required*. - Solid experience with *LAN/WAN* technologies and *QOS* design & implementation. Experience with capacity planning, security and best practices as they relate to VOIP and network technologies. - Expert knowledge of many of the following voice technologies: o *Cisco UC, Call Manager, Unity, UCCX Scripting, SIP Trunks, Cisco IOS Voice Gateways, Mobility, Presence, QoS, WebEx and Tandberg IP Video.* - Extensive experience with *CUCM*, dial plans, call features, media resources - Experience with Avaya Session Manager SIP routing and integration tool - Solid knowledge of voice protocols such as *SIP, H323, MGCP, SCCP *. Current knowledge/understanding of *SRST, MPLS, VPN, IPSEC and WAN.* - Experience installing and managing *voice circuits, IP and TDM* - BS/BA in Telecom, IS or CS is preferred. * * *Responsibilities:* - Design, implement and maintain global voice solutions. Work closely with the Infrastructure and Stakeholders to deliver solutions on time and accurately. - Develop voice network monitoring and management solutions that proactively monitor voice network performance and troubleshooting problems. - Design and deploy enterprise VOIP solutions using CUCM, CME, UCCE, gateways, CUBE… - Research and recommend VOIP projects and solutions. Be aware of current products, technologies and trends. Create and present proposals to senior management to get “buy in” on technology advancements. - Perform most effective approach to restore, recover or alter configurations, logical and/or physical, to maintain service integrity. - Work closely with your team to develop and implement policies and procedures. Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning. - Monitor & test voice performance and provide voice performance stats and reports. - Oversee new and existing voice equipment, hardware and software upgrades. - Practice network & voice assessment management, including the maintenance of new Cisco and legacy voice component inventory. Maintain equipment inventory logs. - Create and maintain both logical and physical voice diagrams. - Work closely with vendors to procure secure voice products and services. Participate in the maintenance and enforcement of SLAs.
