Contribute to GUI back-end View and Action Server, which is written using Java technologies. Be part of a globally distributed team that champions agile development. *Education/Experience: * - BS in computer science or equivalent field with 5+ years of work experience/ Masters in computer science equivalent field with 3+ years of experience - 3+ years experience in building high performance, low latency, message driven applications with full recovery and resiliency - 2+ years experience designing and developing order management platforms - FIX protocol knowledge - Equities, Options experience is a plus *Required technical skills: * - Minimum 3 years experience of professional development using Java, multi-threaded programming and shared memory - Excellent knowledge of core Java (collections, multithreading, OOP, GC) - Experience designing generic server components is a plus - Experience in working in a performance sensitive SoA environment is a plus - TCP/IP sockets programming - Middleware products – TIBCO, JMS, Solace - Agile/XP development experience including test driven development is a big plus - Relational Databases (Sybase, Oracle, MySQL) and SQL knowledge *Misc: * - Must have strong communication skills and have demonstrated success working in a team environment - Strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must - Financial industry experience is a plus (esp.
