Technical/Functional Skills needed:*
• Bachelor degree in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer/Information
Technology with minimum of 5 years of relevant Telecom experience.
• Diploma in in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer/Information Technology
with minimum of 5 years of relevant Telecom experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience of configuration and provisioning of Call
Manager, Cisco Unified Contact Center, Unity,CER  and  CUPS (Cisco Unified
Presence Server – SIP PROXY), in a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)
environment.
• Preferred to have Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) /Cisco
Certified Network Associate in Voice (CCNA-Voice).
• Knowledge of VoIP troubleshooting techniques, traffic engineering, and
experience interpreting and taking action on alert management and
performance management tools to insure proper operation and capacity
planning of VoIP systems.
• Experience with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and
monitoring of core LAN/WAN services including VoIP protocols (i.e. H.323,
SIP, UDP, and RTP).
• Detailed functional knowledge and experience in Cisco Unified
communication which includes CUCM version 6.x and above, Unity, CER, CUPS,
H.323 Gateways, CME-SRST, and SAF.
• Detailed functional knowledge and experience in Cisco Unified Contact
Center which includes CVP, ICM, VXML Gateway
• Detailed functional knowledge and experience in Norstar KSU’s.
• Detailed functional knowledge and experience in Nortel PBX like Option
11c, 51C and 81c.
• Detailed functional knowledge and experience in Non-Nortel PBX such as
Ericsson, Philips, 3COM, Panasonic, Mitel, Vodavi, Siemens, Toshiba, Inter
tel and NEC
• Working knowledge and experience in utilizing BMC Remedy Tool for
Incident and Service Request Management.
• Working knowledge and experience in administration, maintenance,
configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco unified communication manager.
• Working knowledge and experience in administration, maintenance, and
configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Unified Contact Center Solution.
• Working knowledge and experience in administration, maintenance, and
configuration and troubleshooting of voice gateways such as H.323, MGCP and
VG224.
• Working knowledge and experience in administration, maintenance,
configuration and troubleshooting of Norstar PBX and Voice mail solution
(Aleen, Mitel and NAM).
• Working knowledge and experience in configuring and troubleshooting
Nortel PBX and Voice mail solutions (Meridian Mail, Call pilot & NAM).
• CVP & ICM Scripting Training.  Ability to demonstrate proficiency.
• Call Manager Configuration Training.  Ability to demonstrate proficiency.

• Assist in project definition assistance with project team guidance.
• Assist in support process definition.
• Assist in L3 escalation support, administration and advanced
troubleshooting.
• Assist in Change Review.
• Assist in VOIP design and migration planning.
• Assist in process document creation and management.
• Assist in new standards definition and product selection.
• Assist in utilization of telephone management system and tools.
• Assist in perform maintenance and upgrades, as needed.
• Assist in backup and restore.
• Assist in auditing implementation and compliance.
• Assist security team for vulnerability scanning.
• Assist in Asset Management.
• Assist in reporting.
• Assist in coordination with various internal and external field support
groups.
• Assist in third party vendor and OEM coordination.
Assist in VoIP store Roll out.
