Qualifications:
The immediate resps/tasks of the individual will be:
- Inventory of Finance sytems
- Developing strategies/roadmaps
- Managing demand (2013, and 2014 budget)
- PM/coordination of activities (ie OBI)
- Not tactical/not day-to-day support.
- Provide support, application administration & finance systems analysis
for Client's Finance applications, including Oracle EBS Financials and
other systems used within the Accounting organization
- Interact with Finance users, the external Application Management Support
team and Oracle support as needed to provide support to Finance users on
Oracle EBS Finance modules.
- Support systems aspects of finance department projects and execute
projects specific to the Financial Systems function.
- Proactively communicate with finance personnel to understand the critical
accounting processes and their system implications.Analyze current system
solutions and opportunities for further system development/modification to
maximize value from current systems.
- Assist Finance users with the creation of reports using Oracle GL FSGs,
Oracle OBIEE reports, Noetix Web Query, Oracle BI Publisher and other
systems as implemented
- Perform various Finance Application administration tasks as required
Strategic / Governance
- Develop and maintain and communicate an intimate understanding of
Business strategies
- In partnership with Finance, define and maintain a project prioritization
process
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency through innovation and
automation
- In partnership with Finance PMO and key finance stakeholder groups,
support execution of Oracle platform projects either through direct
project management and/or oversight of Finance projects
Operational / Tactical
- Oracle EBS Financials
- Execute Finance Module administrative functions as directed
- Maintain Oracle GL Account code segment hierarchies and ensure
synchronized with other systems as required.
- Support Oracle EBS Financials users on functional and technical aspects
of the applications implemented at BioMarin (level 2 support)
- Work with IT/ERP and the AMS team to resolve user issues with Oracle
(level 2 support)
- Define requirements and support Oracle GL FSG reports (level 2 support)
- Oracle OBIEE & BI Publisher
- Assist Finance users on Oracle OBIEE and BI Publisher functionality
- Assist with defining requirements and developing OBIEE & BI Publisher
reports for Finance department members
- Maintain Finance department BI Publisher portal
- Noetix
- Assist users with Noetix functionality and development of Noetix queries
- Accounting/Data feeds/Budgeting tasks
- Assist various teams with Oracle EBS data extracts as necessary (level 2
support)
- Finance Application Administration
- Perform application administration on miscellaneous Finance systems as
needed and assist Finance users with application management as needed
- Other/General Financial Systems
- Security & SOD review
Other responsibilities as may be assigned by management to support the
business
