Please let me know on Samir@riderconsultinginc.comif you have any good resources for the below position mentioned Role: Systems Analyst - Global Monitoring and Performance Duration: 6-12 months+ Location: Marlborough, MA Job Summary: Systems Analyst - Global Monitoring is a hands-on position responsible for global enterprise monitoring solutions for a complex financial services network. Job Responsibilities: · Work with a variety of IS teams to gather requirements for monitors · Design, test, deploy and support monitoring solutions · Integrate external monitoring tools into existing toolsets · Manage work queue for ad-hoc an change related monitoring modifications · Customize and extend existing systems management tools based on internal client and business requirements · Integrate systems management tools with key third party systems (monitoring, ticketing, and workflow) · Ensure monitoring capabilities match client expectations. Keys to the Position: · 5+ years hands on experience working with enterprise systems management systems and notification systems, including BMC Performance Manager (Portal) and BMC Event Manager (BEM), BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management (BPPM), xMatters (AlarmPoint). Experience with the BMC tools is a must. Experience with other tools from IBM, HP, and or CA will suffice · We are looking for someone that has knowledge of the innerworkings of these tools. · Previous experience creating end-to-end monitoring and management of application, network, and system health and performance in a complex network. · Experience with SNMP configurations, polling, trap receipt, and MIB compilation · Ability to code with MRL (Mastercell Rule Language) and BAROC languages as used in BMC Event Manager (Experience with a scripting language can will suffice if they do not have the MRL experience) · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
