Job Description: One of our client is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the development and operations of our client’s data marts. These data marts are designed as conformed components of a departmental data warehouse. This resource will perform the technical tasks required to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot extraction transformation and loads (ETL) routines that move data from transactional database to the data warehouse. The resource will also provide support to report analysts and customers to ensure accurate and timely performance of reports utilizing information from the data warehouse. The data warehouse operation environment is SQL Server 2008 r2 and 2012 on Windows 2003 and 2008r2 servers, and ADABAS and VSAM on a MVS z/OS. Candidates interested in this position must meet ALL Mandatory skills: * Mandatory Skills and Experience:* Minimum 5 years of experience in creating and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica, including use of PowerCenter for SQL Server. Minimum 5 years of experience writing complex queries using Transact SQL for reporting and data validation purposes. Minimum 5 years of experience using MS SQL Server 200, 2005 and 2008 r2 software tools to administer and/or manage SQL Server database. Minimum 5 years of experience employing data warehouse principles and theories, including knowledge of the various tactical approaches to data warehouse development. Experience using PowerExchange for Mainframe ADABAS.
