*MULE ESB with java* *6-12 months* *Location: Oak Brook Terrace, ILLINOIS* WILL TAKE OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES Redbox Instant by Verizon is looking for a Senior Engineer in our Platform Services group. This engineer will be a member of the technology team and will be responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of back office services used for world-class video streaming and entertainment solution. This position will work with a team of subject matter experts responsible for the company’s back office/platform services and applications. This engineer and SMEs will work closely with a collection of internal teams as well as external vendors to deliver each service. This work will encompass the entire system life cycle including close collaboration with QA and deployment. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Software Development and is located at our Oakbrook Terrace, IL facility. * * * * *Responsibilities* · Implement solutions using Enterprise Service Bus and messaging platforms. · Participate in system detail design, development and delivery cycle of middle tier services. · Work closely with team members to enable successful integration of internal and external services. · Collaborate closely with Architecture, System Analysis and Testing groups to ensure high quality deliverables. *Knowledge, Skill and Abilities* · Expertise in developing high volume, low latency solutions using Enterprise Service Bus platform. Working knowledge of Mule ESB preferred. Knowledge of RabbitMQ is a plus. · Excellent working knowledge of distributed computing environments. Need a working understanding of enterprise service bus (ESB), service oriented architecture (SOA) and software as a service (Saas) concepts. · Experience in building high reliability, high quality, high volume systems using the Java technology stack. · Experience working in an Agile environment. Includes working experience with test driven design (TDD), continuous integration (CI – Jenkins), GIT, delivery tools. · Experience in the fields of cloud services and storage solutions is a plus. · Experience working with geographically distributed development teams.
