*Title : Jr. Software Tester w/ Black Box Experience Location : SConcord, CA Duration : 6+ Months * *Rate: $25/hr on C2C * * Qualifications:* Four year college degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related technical discipline plus a minimum of two years of experience. Requires knowledge of software test engineering and software languages, compilers, architecture, embedded processing, and operating systems. Necessary computer skills include: proven expertise with UNIX, SQL Queries. Doing a Solaris 9 to 10 upgrade. Experience with Solaris 9 required, experience with Solaris 10 preferred. Experience with Oracle 10g required. Prefer experience PERL and HP Quality Center. Effective written and oral communication skills are required. Block box testing experience required. Ability to use typical PC software such as word processors, databases, flowcharts, project schedulers, and spreadsheets. Must possess the physical ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time, and the mental ability to analyze and test complex engineering software.
