Job Description: * Monitor and evaluate all MPLS/WAN services working to ensure uninterrupted access Report service interruptions to resolve issues and restore full function of MPLS services. Conduct assessment of monthly bandwidth utilization Ability to review service requests including current services and future projects. Responsible for developing and maintaining WAN diagrams including depiction of primary and redundant components with details on end point equipment (IP Addresses, etc). Control and allocation of Global and Regional IP address schema and NAT allocations / mgt for WAN/LAN address space. *Experience:* Advanced understanding of TCP/IP networking, LAN / WAN design and support, data networking, CISCO network hardware programming (Switch and Router), Network operational management and visualization software tools CCNA and CCNP required (CCDP preferred). In-depth experience with network classes of service / COS administration within the router space. Experience with Internet Proxy server administration including policy based management Technical / operational level understanding of carrier circuit sizing / implementation (T1, T3, DS3, OC3, OC12, etc). 5+ years of experience with DNS administration as it relates to WAN andor Internet services. Experience with DMZ/ACL administration Experience with CISCO, HP or Extreme hardware including support of security breach remediation.
