1. VMware vSphere 5.xx administration (VCP certified preferred)
2. VMware SRM
3. vCloud suite / Auto provisioning experience
1. *1. Candidate Responsibilities*
1. Day to Day vSphere / VMware administration
1. VM disk space add (all but Windows 2003 C: drive)
2. vCenter alarm management (datastores running low on disk space, VM
performance issues not detected by other tools, etc.)
3. VM snapshot management (scheduling snapshots, snapshot removal)
4. New VM deployments (initially only standard 2008 R2 VMs in the
core subnets, with other deployments as they are automated)
5. VM resource changes (CPU, memory)
6. Additional ESX host installs (for previously standardized
hardware, ie Gen8 blades)
7. T1/T2 ESX cluster host patching
8. T1/T2 ESX host firmware updates (coordinated with hardware support)

1. DR support using VMware SRM solution
2. On Call support for resource coverage may also be required!!!
Weekends and or overtime possible.
