*Sr. Programmer Analyst * *Atlanta, GA* *Explanation for Position:*** BIA is requesting contract developer for enhancing the International Air Freight process. The Electronic Price “EPRICE” quoting system will have a module added to it called “ABI” Air Business Intelligence. ABI expands our costing capabilities for air freight transportation by providing lane level cost information that would vary based on projected volume levels. ABI development areas are: a) Provide dynamic capturing of customer specific lane excel requests and validations for pricing analysis; b) Gather and align carrier contract air feed cost, historical air feed cost achieved, and future planned air feed cost for decision support by analysis; and c) Enable routing and carrier specific alternatives segment adjustment editing and workflow. These enhancements and their associated benefits have been reviewed with senior management. *Details of Position:*** Support the development of business requirements and program specifications; Assist in the creation of project timelines; Work closely with management team to design application flow; Create and maintain various web applications; Design and implement database scheme and process flow; Develop, analyze and execute system test plans; Work closely with QA group to maintain application accuracy; Analyze UPS data to determine necessary data constraints; Analyze various web based applications for performance related issues; Take full ownership of applications as it relates to automating production posting cycles and communicating with the various stakeholders; Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mgmt.
