Daily Duties: Ø Perform as an Architect in designing security
infrastructure on firewalls both internal and external, and designing solutions
based on needs keeping things such as HIPPA, etc. criteria in mind.
Ø Manage and configure Cisco 6500 routers and
functional modules (ACE, FWSM, NAM, and
IDSM). Ø Manage and configure McAfee Firewall
Enterprise (SideWinder). Ø Manage and configure McAfee
IDS. Ø Manage and configure SourceFire
IDS. Ø Manage and configure VPN Environment with
Cisco ASA (IPSEC/SSL, remote VPN, Site to Site
VPN). Ø TCP Traffic Analysis (TCPdump, WireShark,
WildPackets, Infinistream). Ø Manage and configure XML
Gateways. Ø Manage and configure Breach Security
(TrustWave) Web Application Firewalls. Ø Manage and configure Q-Radar
SIEM. Ø General Network Administration and Network
Management. Ø General Security issues/alerts monitoring,
researching and troubleshooting. Ø Performing periodic external network scanning
with Nessus and other pertinent tools. Ø Providing DMZ and network security design
considerations and suggestions to the Network
