*Hope you are doing good,* *Please go through the below given requiremetn and send me the updated resumes on sand...@svksystems.com <sand...@svksystems.com> or you can reach me on 678-824-7775.* *Position Title: Senior Developer * *Location: East Hartford, CT* *Position Type: 8 Months Contract Position * SUMMARY: Our friends at the State of Connecticut has engaged us to help them find a senior developer to continue development and enhance a partially developed web-based Child Protection Application using Visual Studio 2008 and 2012, VB.NET, HTML, and SQL Server 2012. This is a minimum of an 8 month project consulting position as an employee of Hallmark on assignment to our Client. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Work independently with supervisory guidance to lead development, application planning and status reporting for automation efforts in the Child Protection area · Complete development and enhance a partially developed web-based application using Visual Studio 2008 and 2012, VB.NET, HTML, and SQL Server 2012 · Develop, document, and execute test plans and release strategy to migrate the application to production · Provide a variety of written reports that may include Project Plans in MS Project, status reports for Federal Grant reporting, specifications for other developers working on interfacing applications and recommendations on future automation strategies · Work closely with internal resources to establish environments as required (i.e. hardware, storage, database, etc for development, test and production) · Understand other development platforms and tools including legacy COBOL in order to make recommendations on best approaches for integration and enhancement · Development of technical documentation for applications · Attendance at design and code review meetings · Occasional travel within the state is possible EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in IT project management and/or application development • Minimum of six (6) years of experience handling all aspects of Internet/Intranet applications development • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience using SQL Server databases with 1 year in 2012 • Minimum of three (3) years of experience using Visual Studio, .NET Framework 4.5 and VB.NET • Understanding of legacy technology including COBOL using non-relational files (this exposure on VMS/Integrity would be considered a PLUS) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
