This person is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the local network hardware, as well as planning and implementing new projects. This position’s hours are regular business hours, some evening/weekend work, and being on call for critical issues. *Responsibilities* · Provide day to day maintenance and *break/fix within the Process Controls Network*. · Provide subject matter expert level opinion on all technical changes to the environment. · Interact with vendors, operations teams and project managers to deliver supportable solutions. · Write technical documentation, and peer review existing documentation for correctness and usability. * Requirements* · Knowledge of *Cisco routing and switching*. · Familiarity and experience with networking technologies *such as VTP, STP, link aggregation, port-security, and ACL's*. · Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills. · Technical writing experience is a plus. · *CCNA certification is a plus*. · Experience with *Honeywell systems is a plus*. · Experience with *ABB systems is a plus*. · Experience with *Juniper and Cisco firewalls is a plus*.
