Send me profiles : ar...@vedicsoft.com *This would be a SAS Consultant with proficiency in SAS Analytics * *Looking for USC / GC* *Role : SAS consultant – Analytics * *Location : West Des Moines, IA* *Duration : 3-6 Months Contract to Hire * *Job Description : * The *Senior Analytical Consultant* works directly with clients and is responsible for identifying business requirements and translating business needs into moderately complex database related analyses and projects. Ensures adherence to compliance regulations and policies. Their responsibilities include: data mining and modeling, regression analysis, process design and documentation, profitability analysis, new product support, customer segmentation, customer retention, lead/list generation, campaign/project design/execution/and analysis; identifying data sources and opportunities for additional statistical models; responding to requests from partners for specific customer reports and analyses. May manage project teams and provide guidance to less experienced analysts. *OUTPUTS: * • Statistical analyses which identify drivers of customer value, retention, and satisfaction. • *Development, implementation, and management of statistical analyses that will impact the business in such areas as Marketing, Actuary, Risk, Operations, etc. *• Assists the organization in embracing and acting on the insight developed from statistical analyses. • Deliverables may include planning, designing, analyzing, modeling, and presenting results of statistical analyses to cross-functional audiences. *REPORTS TO: Director of Customer & Marketing Analytics* *DIRECT & INDIRECT REPORTS: *May supervise Sr. & Jr. Statistical Modeler, Sr. & Jr. Analytics Consultant May supervise 0 to 5 reports Number & General Description of Indirect Reports: May indirectly supervise Sr. & Jr. Statistical Modeler, Sr. & Jr. Analytics Consultant May indirectly supervise 0 to 5 reports *KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Internal: *Marketing: Must be able to translate marketing objectives into analytical assignments and deliver analytical solutions in a way a marketer can utilize Actuarial: Will work closely with actuaries to understand pricing and risk. May develop predictive models to advance or alter existing processes Sales & Distribution: Must work closely with our Sales team to understand key relationships, challenges and risks. Operations & IT: Partnership with operations is integral to the success of this role, customer facing employees must use the insights generated. Must understand implementation requirements and how they will impact IT & Operations. *External: *• Data vendors • Offshore analytics team • Distribution partners *EDUCATION: *• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field of study (statistics, economics, physics, business etc.) or equivalent required • MA/MS preferred. *EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years consulting on analytical results, developing models and/or analyses, preferably in a financial services industry. * *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:* Results-oriented, self-motivated individual with proven record Exceptional planning and execution skills Advanced analytical/research skills *Advanced SAS programming skills* Strategic/creative thinker with strong data management and analytical orientation Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, a team orientation, and attention to detail Experience presenting complex statistical and research-related data to lay audiences Market research experience preferred Best Regards, *Arjun Kanakoti * *VEDICSOFT* | *Business Intelligence.
