*Project Location* *white plains/NY* *Duration* *6 months* MOI:PHONE+FACE2FACE This is a senior level position that will be responsible for managing the deployment of the Cisco VoIP telephony system throughout the NYPA enterprise throughout NY State. The candidate for this position should have extensive hands on technical skills designing and deploying Cisco VoIP solutions. Additionally, this candidate should have strong project management skills to ensure that all implementation details are identified and planned for to ensure a seamless, successful migration to the new Cisco VoIP system. The candidate should have experience with legacy PBX telephone systems, specifically the Siemens HiPath 4000, and expert knowledge of Cisco VoIP phones and Cisco's Unified Communications Manager. The candidate should also have in-depth knowledge of Cisco switches and routers, including hardware and IOS software, configuration and troubleshooting. This candidate will be responsible for Identifying legacy phone system inventory, wiring issues, analog phone issues, PoE switch issues and develop a plan and schedule to migrate all NYPA sites to Cisco VoIP.
