Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Cognos Developer *Project Location* San Diego, CA *Duration* 12 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:- Skype Hire Only* * Must have:* · Strong Experience in IBM Cognos 10.1.1 BI Suite (Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Business InSight Advanced) · *Strong Experience in working on Oracle as database engine.* · Must be able to build complex reports using Report Studio like Master-Detailed reports, Drill thru reports, conditional formatting and use of conditional variables and Charts. · Experience in working with Active Reports. · *Must demonstrate strong experience in metadata modeling using Cognos 10.1.1 Framework Manager.* · Experience in handling OLTP System. · Experience in administration tasks of Cognos BI such as deployment of reports, content stores between environments, maintenance of connections to the databases, understanding and troubleshooting issues using error logs, etc · Strong experience with Security – LDAP, must be able to implement security at Folder Level, Report level and Data Level to the appropriate user groups. · Strong experience in performance tuning and optimization of reports. · Strong SQL Skills to validate the data in the reports and Customize the queries within the reports · Strong verbal skills to interact with Business. · Proven written skills to draft technical documents. *Good to have:* Experience in working within AGILE environment.
