Role: Data Analyst / Data Modeler Duration:3-6 +months
Location: New Albany, OH Skills: Data Modeler with Retail industry Exp *Responsibilities:* · Develops and maintains data models (logical and physical) for operational and analytical systems in the Enterprise · Maintains the ERWIN model repository and ensures the models are current · Creates and executes DDL in development environments for any new and/or revised database objects · Works closely and communicates effectively with the IT development staff on providing the best data design solutions for their needs · Must possess the ability to build derive data requirements from functional requirements, source data and meetings and the ability to generate data models from scratch to meet requirements and follow best practices · Works to promote the enterprise’s data governance standards · Reviews and Approves requests pertaining to database objects in a timely manner, including new and revised models (complete application data structures), tables, views (regular or materialized), columns, indexes, relationships and keys * Requirements:* · BS in Computer Science or related field · 5+ years’ experience in data design, data architecture and data modeling (both transactional and analytic) · 3+ years’ experience in Relational and Dimensional data design and modeling in a large multi-platform data environment · 3+ years’ experience writing and optimizing *complex* SQL code · Experience with ERWIN modeling tool and associated repository · Experience with Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 in support of the transactional systems modeling is preferred · Experience with Netezza in support of the data warehouse modeling is preferred · Must have good written and verbal communication skills, and have experience interfacing directly with program development, user and management personnel Thanks & Regards *Rathnakumar Voothukoori* Ph: 630-242-8896 Ext:307 Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc || "Ensuring Client's Success"|| Email: rathnakumar_voothuko...@aesinc.us.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
