This role will require the candidate to be able to manage a diverse team and communicate with product owners, customers and the implementation teams across AT&T. In addition to driving deployment and cost improvement across the program, managing process compliance and program changes to the program will be key responsibilities for ensuring the program’s success. The Program Manager must be able to envision how to divide the program into individual projects and manage the interactions to maximize efficiency while minimizing delays from those interactions. Identification of areas that can be automated through the workflow system (eSCORE) and driving that capability will be critical. Areas included in the end-to-end program for deploying indoor small cells include: · Creating processes for new projects or steps · Creating and maintaining the Plan of Record · Customer onboarding · Templates for new installations · Automation of activities surrounding new customers and installations · Site planning and acquisition when required · Site design · Backhaul ordering and coordination · Vendor management and ordering interval management · Site coordination – including necessary steps such as construction, re-design and integration · Installation · Site testing, verification and optimization The defined program must be flexible and take into account future programs, such as outdoor installations. Other responsibilities of the program manager include: · communicating with executives, stakeholders and customers · communicating with team members of program or process changes · owning the overall processes · providing requirements for workflow management tool (eSCORE) to enable improvements · driving process compliance across the program · managing all jeopardies, issues and risks within the program with appropriate communication and escalations Key Skills and Experience The program manager must have experience with network equipment deployments and managing the program. Must also have demonstrable strong oral and written communications skills, and evidence of success with managing programs across diverse teams and organizational boundaries. Also required is a strong process background with proven value in improving results through change management and process improvements. This role requires a technical background with a minimum of 10 years of experience in wireless networks.
