They will be able to demonstrate a well sound understanding of designing effective controls and testing key controls to ensure they are operating effectively. · They will have good technical knowledge, underpinned by sound problem solving and analytical skills. · Academic and Professional Qualifications - The candidate should be educated to degree level and have Industry recognized qualifications, either within accounting or the securities industry. · Communication Skills - The candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills aligned with good networking skills in order to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. They will have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels. Must be proficient in use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. · Leadership Skills – The candidate will posses strong ownership skills and demonstrate the ability to take a lead, suggesting solutions and maintaining momentum even when obstacles are placed in their path · Personal Attributes - The right candidate will be professional under pressure and will have strong interpersonal skills. They will have commitment and focus on succeeding in a challenging environment.
