Participate as a high level expert in gathering, documenting, and obtaining validation of requirements/user stories for new software solutions. Develop process models, use cases, business/solution/non-functional requirements and/or user stories as needed for the assigned project. Consult with business partners, agencies, and IT on impacts and implications of ideas. Consult with IT teams on technical specifications, test plans, and implementation plans for assigned project; Work with business and technical staff to understand and resolve challenges with requirements elicitation and documentation. Support the project manager in managing customer expectations with respect to project cost, scope, complexity, and timeline. Participate in software evaluation and technology vendor selection. Trace requirements through the project life cycle or participate in sprint and release planning, and adjust solutions or allocate requirements where necessary. Collaborate with business partners on user acceptance test case development and testing, and support change management activities from the IT perspective as needed. Work with limited direction, usually within a complex environment, to validate the solution meets the business requirements. Collaborate across global businesses and technology organizations, providing sound business analysis, process, and change leadership. *Qualifications:* Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in mid-to-large size companies (2000+ employees). Seven years or more of relevant experience in technical business analysis. Business and solution knowledge in the areas of Digital Asset Management, Web Content Management, and Web projects is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to select requirements methodologies appropriate for business and technology team needs. Experience using requirements gathering techniques including elicitation, process modeling, data modeling, and product backlog grooming with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Ability to translate complex business problems to organized, clear and concise requirements or user stories with acceptance criteria. Strong skills in evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding. Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies and practices quickly. Ability in translating technical material to non-technical audiences. Understanding of application architecture and technology infrastructure. Experience with methods for custom software development and commercial off the shelf package software implementation. Experience with large-scale enterprise class systems, overseeing the resolution of complex business problems and aligning them to business partner needs. Proven ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity while prioritizing and focusing on critical tasks and issues. Strong presentation, facilitation, conceptual, and analytic skills. Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate both written and verbally about complex topics and processes, to different levels of the organization, different levels of technical expertise, with vendors and a broad group of stakeholders. Ability to lead through organizational change and ambiguity, including experience in a global matrix management environment. Reputation for being a collaborative thought partner and business leader, skilled at leveraging formal and informal networks with the company. Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Rally.
