*Title : BO Developer / Admin * *Location : Santa Clara* *Duration : long term* Senior BO Developer with data warehousing and BI reporting experience to work as part of our Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence team to perform ETL/BI development based on user requirements for our business partner. We are looking for individuals at all levels including hands on developers and leads. *Required Skills*: · 5 to 10 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically working with Business Objects. · Knowledge of the Business Objects BI platform 4.0 architecture and system essentials · Experience in upgrading BO from 3.1 to 4.0 · Experience in Linux / UNIX platforms · Experience with Data Conversion · Financial Reporting experience · Strong knowledge of database loading methods · Report design/development, Data mapping experience · Experience building metadata repositories (Physical layer, Business layer, Presentation layer, Dashboards, Reports, Security, Catalog Manager, Dimensions, Facts, Attributes, Metrics, Hierarchies) · Facilitation Skills · Experience configuring, tuning and troubleshooting WebSphere/ WebLogic applications · Must have worked in global enterprise systems implementation, management reporting systems, or internet related technologies. · Ability to work with development teams and vendors to resolve infrastructure related issues. · Understanding of database structure · Experience working with Business Objects Enterprise infrastructure. · An understanding of Web Servers, Apache Tomcat and Databases (Oracle preferred. ) · Experience in design and developing the universe. · The candidate should also have Disaster recovery design knowledge. · Experience in building the BO Environments from scratch. · Requirements gathering skills · Business Process Redesign experience · Experience in performance testing and capacity planning · Demonstrated experience in working in production environment. · Ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple infrastructure related efforts across concurrent project tasks. *Job Responsibilities:* Adhere to assigned project schedules with willingness to complete projects within time and budget.
