*Job Title: Application Developer* *Location: Tallahassee, FL* *Duration : 8 months with possible extension* *Responsibilities:* Provide development support to the Application Maintenance Services (AMS) Team; Provide maintenance and support for a variety of the business applications; Preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications; Research and document requirements of program users; Display foresight to identify potential problems and design / specifications and assigned application software systems. *Requirements:* Experience with Oracle PL/SQL (6+ years); Experience with XML, HTML and CSS (4+ years); Experience with Classic ASP (4+ years); Experience with VB 6 (4+ years); Experience with C++ (4+ years); Experience using Subversion; Knowledge of relational and object-oriented database designs; Knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies; Knowledge of Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM); Knowledge of database security, including role-based security; Knowledge and experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML); Familiar with Agile development practices, specifically SCRUM and Kanban; Experience using Maven 2; Preferred skills: experience with Java Frameworks such as Struts / Tiles, Struts 2, Servlets / JSP, JPA / Hibernate (2+ years).
