Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* .Net/Biztalk Developer *Project Location* Bloomington, MN *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI Telephonic + Face to face* *NEED USC GC EAD ONLY* DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Develops, tests, and documents software applications, applying knowledge of programming techniques, object oriented architecture & design, and computer systems. • Understand the interactions between various IT applications and anticipates any consequences of proposed changes. • Performs coding required to meet the functional and technical requirements. • Performs unit testing of all changes before handing completed code over for build and quality assurance testing. • Assist in the development, configuration and deployment of BizTalk applications • Completes coding and testing efforts within the agreed timeframes. • Correct errors by making appropriate changes and regression testing the program to ensure that the desired results are produced and no other areas are adversely affected. • Prepares technical design documents in conjunction with development team leader that includes flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow and to describe logical operations involved. • Assist with issues that arise in production environment; require solid troubleshooting techniques. • Frequent communication with the Development Team Leader to help manage timelines and expectations. * REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * • 3+ years of development experience with C# .Net and/or VB .Net • Strong object oriented design and application layering experience • Experience and proficiency using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 • Knowledge and understanding of WCF web services • Knowledge and understanding of HTTP/FTP/SFTP concepts • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Attention to detail and commitment to quality • Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or equivalent experience • Experience with BizTalk a big plus. • Experience using Extensible Markup Language (XML), Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), or XML Schema Definition Language (XSD) a plus. • Knowledge of Reinsurance, Insurance or Financial Services industry a plus.
