Please share suitable profiles towards below position to vi...@pronixinc.com *Role: Lead Infrastructure Engineer (MS Lync 2013) * Location: Washington, DC Duration: 6+ Months *Job Description* *Background:* The Operations Center is seeking a Lead Systems engineer to perform systems analysis, design, project management and technical leadership and implementation functions for complex, heterogeneous Information Technology computing environments. The candidate should have extensive experience implementing and maintaining a unified communications infrastructure running in a Microsoft Windows 2008 operating system environment. Candidate should have strong experience with Microsoft Lync 2013 and Microsoft Exchange 2007/2013 as well as Microsoft Active Directory. Operations support functions in a fast-paced, time-to-market-driven environment. Strong customer service and trouble-shooting skills a must. Demonstrated experience in the following is strongly preferred: understanding of SQL server, enterprise voice and voicemail to e-mail, video conferencing, mobile device management, network topology, change control processes and disaster recovery.Tasks: - Completing the build out of Lync 2013 infrastructure. This may include travel to up to four locations in the Washington DC metropolitan area. - Assist with deploying Lync devices such as phones, headsets, video cameras for desktops - Assist with documenting the Lync environment - Assist with documenting standard operating procedures related to environment and support of infrastructure - Troubleshooting any issues with any component of Lync communications (e.g. phones, headsets, etc.) - Assist in daily maintenance of Lync environment - Part of a team to create a Disaster Recover test plan *Required Skills/Qualifications:* - College Degree or 8-10 years related work experience, or equivalent total experience. Candidate must have extensive experience in Windows Operating System Platform, , Active Directory and group policy. Candidate must have been a primary participant and set up a Lync environment in one of their previous assignments. - *# 1 must have: *Complete understanding and *direct hands-on experience with setting up a Microsoft Lync 2013 environment.* Understanding of enterprise voice, Lync mobile clients, Lync web application, voicemail to e-mail, persistent chat, and Lync federation - *# 1 must have: *Excellent troubleshooting of system and application performance related issues and recommend fixes - *# 1 must have: *Excellent customer service skillset - Self-motivated, adaptable to change and able to function effectively in a team environment - Excellent written and verbal communications skills should include ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures.
