Position: Network Analyst with Telecommunications Experience Location: Newport News, VA Duration: Long Term *Job Description*: The Telecom Network Analyst role will comprise the core capability of the Network Transformation Project Team, and is charged with handling the technical aspects of the migration for all in-scope facilities and related services. Under direction of the Program and Network Project Managers, these associates will be responsible for ensuring a smooth migration to the new network environment, and are responsible for handling technical components to include testing, configuration and optimization to ensure the best possible outcome for the project. Ultimately, the Network Analyst role is the key focal point of the entire team and is accountable for executing on the defined migration plan and for all in-scope technical actions. They should have experience with large-scale network transformation initiatives in an extremely dynamic and fluid enterprise environment. Ideally, the incumbent for this role should possess an associate-level certification to include CCNA and 1-3 years of network support and implementation experience in a fast-paced and dynamic enterprise environment, with exposure to telecommunications. *Key responsibilities*: 1. Technical components of network migration activities, to include configuration, testing, troubleshooting and restoration of in-scope services. 2. Interface with vendors, internal teams and network supplier to ensure that newly-installed services meet performance objectives. 3. Work with vendors to ensure that applicable configurations are defined and applied to network devices for each in-scope location. 4. Provide escalation assistance and troubleshooting for newly-converted project sites. 5. Update documentation and provide updates to project team members and related stakeholders. 6. Assist other project team members with troubleshooting issues and/or handling migration activities. 7. Available to work a non-standard work week or non-standard work hours to support the timely completion of the project.
