Example: On open dialog 1. type this in filename box: "hhh" 2. now switch to file chooser window with left click. 3. Now type Ctrl-L Result: "hhh" is erased, cursor is in filename box. The result that the filename is erased led me to think that Ctrl-L is for erasing file names, because Ctrl-L in Epihany never erases a long URL.
